2012 - Istanbul: A night walk
In 2012 I found myself in Istanbul for a convention on renewable energy; at the time I was working in this sector. Interesting topic, which allows you to travel a lot but not to see as much: conference rooms, offices, or remote places good for installing a system.
One evening, although tired from the days of meetings, I took my camera and decided to take a walk around the city. A few hours of leisure and exploration of a magnificent city.
The small reportage of stolen shots that resulted does not tell of the great and famous monuments of Istanbul (given the time they were closed anyway) but of a small part of a city that is always alive, full of locals and tourists, of people who work or returning home.
My memory is that of a safe city where people in Western or traditional clothes, women in suits or with veils, meet quietly.
It was 2012. I hope that's still the case.
