2016-2017 - The shapes of the sky
The space around us, in which we move, affects us both physically and emotionally, it is enough to stop for a moment to realize it, just the time of a photo, photos in which I have tried to analyze and convey the sensations of what are the "horizons urban ", where the natural horizon is modified by anthropization, determining a perceptual limit that is now physical in contrast with its more classical virtual and unattainable natural form (the horizon of the sea).
A new horizon is defined which can also become vertical or chaotic to the point of changing the perception of time itself, accelerating it.
Geometric composition, light and color, contrast between the three-dimensionality of the subject and its negation but still recognizable, are the guides that I gave myself (by chance? By choice?) During the realization of the shots that make up this study that I carried out for two years approximately (2016-2017) between Milan and Paris.
A further step leads to the composition of the final work which can be the single shot or a composition of shots aimed at emphasizing perceptual similarities even in different places.
